Neighborhoods We Serve
Local Housing
South Jordan is master-planned growth: Daybreak's villages around Oquirrh Lake, newer family subdivisions along South Jordan Parkway, and established homes near Glenmoor and the Jordan River. Open floor plans and large rear glass facing the Oquirrh Mountains are the norm, and most projects start with covering a whole house of bare or builder-grade windows.
Climate & Light Considerations
South Jordan faces west into the Oquirrhs, so rear glass takes the afternoon sun head-on and sunset glare lands right in the main living spaces. Summers are hot and dry, winters are cold, and the wind comes across the valley floor. Solar shades cut the glare while keeping the mountain sunset, and cellular shades insulate the big rear windows in both seasons.

Who measures and installs window treatments in South Jordan?
Measuring and installation are performed through Hunter Douglas Installation Services, the manufacturer's own certified installation service, for both Hunter Douglas and Alta Window Fashions products. Measurements are guaranteed for fit, installation carries a one-year installation guarantee from the service, Hunter Douglas shades carry the Hunter Douglas lifetime warranty, and PowerView carries a five-year warranty.
We just bought in Daybreak and every window is bare. Where do we start?
Start with the rooms you live in most and the west-facing glass, where sun and privacy matter right away, then work through bedrooms and secondary rooms. During the consultation we go room by room, compare Hunter Douglas and Alta options at different price points, and help you phase the project if doing the whole house at once does not fit the budget.
