Neighborhoods We Serve
Local Housing
Draper is newer and larger: South Mountain and Corner Canyon custom homes, Suncrest homes on the ridge with views in two directions, and family subdivisions still filling in around Draper Park. Two-story great rooms, tall entry glass, and walls of west-facing windows are standard, and many homes still have the builder-grade blinds they closed with.
Climate & Light Considerations
Draper catches the point of the mountain winds and full southern exposure. Suncrest and ridge homes take wind and sun from two sides, and west-facing glass overheats great rooms by mid-afternoon. Motorized solar shades on a schedule are the practical answer for tall glass, and cellular shades take the edge off the temperature swings that come with elevation.
Common Questions About Window Treatments in Draper
Does Luxe Window Works have a showroom in Draper?
No. Luxe serves Draper by appointment with in-home consultations. We bring Hunter Douglas and Alta Window Fashions samples to your home, and measuring and installation are performed locally through Hunter Douglas Installation Services by certified installers.

Measurements are guaranteed for fit, installation carries a one-year installation guarantee from the service, Hunter Douglas shades carry the Hunter Douglas lifetime warranty, and PowerView carries a five-year warranty.
What is the best way to cover two-story windows in a Draper great room?
Motorized shades are the practical answer for glass you cannot reach. We plan the power options and controls with you during the consultation.
